The Foreign Ministry has issued a statement that the Sultanate of Oman is following with great concern the disappearance of the helicopter carrying Dr Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and a number of companions.

The statement expresses the solidarity of the Sultanate of Oman, its prayers and its readiness to provide support and assistance.
