The Foreign Ministry of Foreign announces the implementation of the mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of ordinary passports between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Turkey,
Under this agreement, Omani citizens holding ordinary passports will no longer need to obtain a tourist visa in advance to enter Türkiye and may stay for up to 90 days within any 180 day-period.
On a reciprocal basis, Turkish citizens will be exempt from obtaining a prior visa to enter Oman and may stay for up to 30 consecutive days per visit, with a total stay not exceeding 90 days within any 180-day period.
The Ministry advises Omani citizens travelling to Türkiye to ensure that their passports are valid for at least six months from the date of entry and encourages travellers to have health insurance covering the duration of their stay. The Ministry wishes all travellers a safe and pleasant journey.
