Ambassador Issa Alshibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India; and Military Attaché, Issa Alnahawi; attended the farewell ceremony for the traditional sailing vessel INSV Kaundinya.

The vessel is sailing from Porbandar in Gujarat to Muscat, marking the shared maritime heritage of Oman and India and building on the long standing relations between the two nations.

The voyage also celebrates 70 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
