Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a phone call with Iran’s Foreign Minister Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

The consultations focused on efforts to prevent escalation in the region as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and to achieve a ceasefire to allow the delivery of humanitarian aid.

The Ministers emphasised their firm solidarity with the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in order to reach a just and comprehensive peace.
