Oman’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Muslim Al Rahbi, attended the launch of a report titled The Third Assessment of the Projected Social and Economic Impacts of the Gaza War on the State of Palestine, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
The report was issued by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
Ambassador Al Rahbi said the report was a positive step towards shedding light on the ongoing suffering endured by the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
He also thanked the organisers and the dedicated team for their efforts to assess the impact of the Israeli occupation forces’ aggressive and inhumane practices.
