Oman’s Embassy in Paris organised a cultural event as part of the “Discovering Oman” programme.

First Secretary Yousuf Alabdali presented a paper on “Aflaj in the Sultanate of Oman,” and Professor Thibaut Klinger delivered a lecture entitled “Contemporary Oman: Land Planning and Omani Identity.”

The event was attended by a distinguished group of university heads, directors of research and strategic centres, media professionals, as well as university students and researchers from French universities interested in Middle Eastern studies.
