Nasser Almanwari, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Philippines, attended a plenary session of the Philippine Congress during which President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr delivered the 2025 State of the Nation Address.

In his address, the Philippine President thanked the Sultanate of Oman for its mediation efforts, which played a crucial role in securing the release of Filipino seafarers of the ship Galaxy Leader.
