Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation, attended the launch ceremony of “Kazan, the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World for 2026”. The event took place at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Moscow.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, attended the ceremony alongside a number of Ambassadors of Islamic countries accredited to Russia.
